Single - and truly scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36-/M40'-pattern- and 'pointed styled-') 'cyphered' shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 137'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless truly scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) early-war-period, so-called: 'M36-/M40'-pattern- (pointed-styled) 'cyphered', NCO-type (and as per regulation, non-piped) shoulderstrap as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 137' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the army mountain-troops regiment, numbered: '137') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 11,3 cms. sized in length and that does show the 'standard'-pattern, silver-toned NCO-braid - has the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei') so-called: '1'-, '3'- and/or '7'-cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern'). All three 'cyphers' are executed in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its functional tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This strap originates from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 137'!
