Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in bright-red-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberst des Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiments 113'

The very attractive - and actually rarely found! - WH (Heeres) pair is piped in the typical bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by an: 'Oberst des Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiments 113' (ie. full colonel and possibly commanding-officer!) who served within the: Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiments 113' (or: mountain-troops-related, artillery-troops, numbered: '113'). The - truly high-ranked! - pair was most certainly issued and worn as such but comes, nevertheless, in an overall nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard-pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades and do show some age, wear and staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 11,3 cms. in length each - show a matching pair of the neat (golden-toned, I deem 'Buntmetall'-based- and/or regular-sized) so-called: double '1'- and/or: '3'-numerals ie. cyphers (or: 'Ziffern') and four (identical, somewhat tarnished and equally golden-toned) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of: 'Oberst des Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiments 113'. The straps came mounted onto their (smaller-sized) tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair came with a pair of (silver-coloured) so-called: 'screw-on'-buttons (ie. 'Schraubknöpfe') attached. It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern (and high-ranked!) WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This pair originated from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberst des Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiments 113'!
