Superb, so-called: 'Zollgrenzschütz-Ehrenzeichen' (or: customs loyal-service medal) that comes mounted onto its (scarcely seen!) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') showing a neat interwoven, bright-yellow-toned 'Zollgrenzschütz'-eagle-device

This is truly attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a somewhat darker, reddish-bronze-toned, so-called: 'Zollgrenzschütz-Ehrenzeichen' (or: customs loyal-service medal) that comes mounted onto its somewhat confectioned (and actually scarcely seen!) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') showing the bright-yellow-toned- and interwoven 'Zollgrenzschütz'-eagle-device and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit hardly worn- nor used-), condition. The medal is just a tiny bit tarnished but retains a great and detailed age-patina overall (it has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished). The award came mounted onto its original, nicely folded and full-length (ie. approximately 14 cms. long and/or: 3.5 cms. wide-size-) cornflower-blue-coloured ribbon, showing the interwoven golden-yellow-coloured 'Zollgrenzschütz'-eagle-device (which is actually a very scarce piece in itself). The award originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found. Simply a very nicely preserved - and/or complete! - 'Zollgrenzschütz-Ehrenzeichen'-set that is with certainty accordingly priced!
