Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Leutnant des Infanterie-Batallions 52'

This is an attractive - and only moderately used- ie. carefully tunic-removed! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant des Infanterie-Batallions 52' (or: lieutnant who served within the army-infantry battalion, numbered: '52') and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem surely issued- ie. worn and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Infanterie'-related (typically 'front-worn'!) shoulderboards and have the silver-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued', silverish-grey-toned) 'upperdecks' (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the 'smooth'-type wool as to be expected). The boards came mounted onto their functional (smaller-shaped) tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which shows two pairs of (fully matching, smaller-sized- and/or: bright-golden-toned) '5'- and/or: '2'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached - measure approximately 10,2 cms. in length each and shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining as to be expected. The pair was never before in collectors'-hands and originates directly from a private-household in Germany. Simply an interesting - and most certainly attractive! - WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant des Infanterie-Batallions 52' and that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
