Attractive, zinc-based ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') as was intended for a Dutch Waffen-SS volunteer who served within the 'SS-Brigade Landstorm Nederland' and that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation: 'SS Frw.Brig.Lst.Ndl. - 3428'

This is an attractive - and with certainty very scarcely found! - typical zinc-based ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') as was intended for a Dutch Waffen-SS volunteer who served within the later-war-period: 'SS-Brigade Landstorm Nederland' and that is bearing the clearly visible ie. stamped unit-designation: 'SS Frw.Brig.Lst.Ndl.' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used and/or worn-), condition. The disc - which is executed in a fine and clear letter-type and that shows the bearers'-number: '3428' - comes in an overall nice condition and shows some evidence of having been worn as such (minimally torn-out holes): it was furthermore never cleaned nor polished. The disc - which is void of a soldiers'-blood-group type as more often - has never been cleaned and comes as stored for years: it does show some minimal age, wear- and/or staining.
