The very attractive - and simply never used nor worn! - WH (Heeres) 'standard-pattern', field-grey-coloured- and/or steel-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften des Heeres') truly retains all of its field-grey- (ie. somewhat lighter-green-) coloured sprayed surface and shows a (clearly present) oval-shaped stamp on the leather-based tab (as can be seen on the pictures): it is thus a typical example that was produced by the Austrian maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Brüder Schneider AG' as based in the town of Wien (ie. Vienna). The buckle - which itself is void of a makers'-mark as more often - came mounted onto its (fully) souple and of course still functional, natural leather-coloured leather-based 'tab' (that is showing the makers'-designation and/or '1940'-date-stamp as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle is truly void of any age and wear and just shows some storage-staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle - which still retains pronounced detail as to be expected - orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that I have priced this 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' WH (Heeres) belt-buckle accordingly!
