This is a very attractive example of the - actually fairly scarcely encountered! - typical darker-blue-coloured- and/or linnen-based RLB (or: 'Reichsluftschutzbund') so-called: 'Amtsträger Armbinde für Führer' (or: officers'-pattern armband) depicting the multi-coloured 'RLB'-logo (with lettering) and showing two silver-coloured 'borders' that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- ie. worn, condition. This band signified that the bearer was an official member ie. officer of the RLB and acted as a so-called: 'Amtsträger' (these bands could also be worn with the civilian-attire). The armband - which comes neatly 'off-factory' stitched-together - measures approximately 38 x 10,2 cms. and comes in an overall very nice condition: it is just minimally stained and is somewhat wrinkled (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows a neat interwoven patent-pending-designation (something that is not often the case!) that simply reads: 'Ges.Gesch.' (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and actually quite unusually enocountered! - TR-era, RLB-related officers'-pattern armband that will be very hard to be upgraded!
