This is a very attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - Waffen-SS (ie. 'SS') officers'-pattern collar-rank-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Führer') being a 'standard-issue'- (ie. so-called: 'RzM'-) pattern example as executed in black-coloured wool and having the silver-coloured- and/or twisted piping attached as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'SS-Unterstürmführer' (ie. leutnant) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued-, minimally worn- and/or once tunic-attached, condition. The tab shows the typical 'buckram'-based 'backing' (as can be seen on the pictures) and shows three greyish-silver-coloured (ie. zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based- and/or smaller-sized) pips, period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'SS-Haupsturmführer'. The piece was - I deem - once tunic-attached and was carefully tunic-removed: it still shows some minimal stitching- ie. thread-remains (as can be seen on the pictures). Without doubt a very attractive and with certainty scarcely seen Waffen-SS (ie. 'SS') officers'-pattern collar-rank-tab that was intended for usage by an: 'SS-Unterstürmführer'!
