This is a very attractive - and with certainty very rarely encountered! - Marine-HJ (ie. 'Marine-Hitlerjugend') so-called: cap-tally (ie. 'Mützenband') entitled: 'M.J.A. Kassel B.D.M.V.' being a full-length example that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just moderately used- and/or most certainly worn-), condition. The cap-tally - which is woven in silverish-white-coloured linnen on a cornflower-blue-coloured background comes in a full-length condition and measures approximately 118 cms. in length. The piece is neatly excecuted in so-called: 'BeVo'-like weave-pattern - and is as stated woven in (bright!) silver-white-coloured (ie. almost 'flat-wire'-like!) thread (as can be seen on the pictures). It does shows some (minimal) age, wear and/or staining but is totally void of any real damage. I could not find any additional reference-material concerning the Marine-HJ-unit with the name ie. abbreviation: 'M.J.A. Kassel B.D.M.V.' and am convinced that this is rarely seen example that would merit additional investigative work. This cap-tally was found together with the other two examples I offer under the numbers #55148 and #55149: all three examples came from a private-household in Germany and and once belonged to the same Marine-HJ-member who wore and stored these for decades. I deem that this attractive and desirable Marine-HJ example is accordingly priced!
