Later-war-period-, painted - but nevertheless detailed! - bronze-class shooting- ie. marksmans'-badge aka: 'Gauleistungsabzeichen 1944 in Bronze des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' (as was awarded for the 'KK-Gewehr')

This is an attractive - and moderately used- and worn - example of a later-war-period- and bronze-class shooting- (ie. marksmans'-) badge aka: 'Gauleistungsabzeichen 1944 in Bronze des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' being an example that was specifically awarded for the small-calibre rifle (ie. 'KK-Gewehr') being a clearly maker- (ie. 'Carl Poellath'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The detailed and/or medium-sized badge (having an approximate diameter of 4 cms.) is executed in multi-coloured and nicely painted (reddish-bronze-toned) zinc (ie. 'Feinzink') and is totally void of any damage: it is void of any paint-damage and retains a fully preserved (somewhat tarnished) reddish-bronze-toned finish (just some minimal staining is visible and present). The badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional- and fully unaltered pin- ie. pin-catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). A similar example is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number: 'A61N' and wherein it is given an estimated value of 60 Eu. Simply an attractive shooting-award that is offered by me for a justified price!
