'RDB' (or: 'Reichsbund der deutchen Beamten') civil-attire badge (ie. 'Ges.Gesch.'-) designation on its back 'RDB' (or: 'Reichsbund der deutchen Beamten') civil-attire badge (ie. This is a neat example of a silver-metal- (ie. 'Buntmetall'-) based so-called: 'RDB' (ie. 'Reichsbund der deutchen Beamten') civil-attire badge (or: 'Zivilabzeichen') being of the second pattern and bearing a neat makers'-mark (ie. logo) (that reads: 'S&L') and/or patent-pending- (ie. 'Ges.Gesch.'-) designation on its back and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The tiny badge comes mounted onto its original and/or functional pin/catch-construction. The piece - which was obviously produced by the 'Steinhauer u. Lück'-company based in the town of Lüdenscheid - has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished and is a tiny bit stained ie. tarnished. A similar example of this badge is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken' lapel-pin-catalogue wherein it is given a unique reference-number: 3514B. Simply a neat, smaller-sized 'RDB'-item: hard to encounter a more nicely preserved example for a more interesting price!
