This is a pair of neatly hand-embroidered, WH (Heeres) officers'-type, so-called: 'Waffenrock'- (ie. dress-) collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Waffenrock') as piped in the (scarcely seen!) bright-orange- ('orangeroter') coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Offizier eines Feldgendarmerie-Abteilungs o. Akademie' (or: officer who served within a field-police unit or academy) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The pair - which is of the specific pattern that was used on the WH-dress-tunics or: 'Waffenröcke' - is piped in the bright-orange- ('orangeroter') coloured branchcolour: the pieces are almost identical in execution but are sold as a non-matching-pair: only one of the pieces is 'backed' with 'buckram'-based material (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows extraordinary hand-embroidery and is fully void of any corrosion or alike. In any case is this a very attractive and 'Heeres'-Feldgendarmerie o. Akademie-related officers'-type 'Waffenrock'-insignia-set as was intended for usage by an: 'Offizier eines Feldgendarmerie-Abteilungs o. Akademie'!
