This is an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - early-war-pattern, WH (Heeres) specific cocarde as was executed in bluish-grey-coloured linnen in so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern as was specifically intended for usage on the: 'Panzer'-beret (ie. 'Panzerschutzmütze') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint-ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece comes as 'straightly cut-off the role' and was simply never used- (nor beret-attached) as can be seen on the pictures. The piece - also known in German language as: 'Kokarde für Panzerschutzmütze' - just shows some minimal age- and/or staining caused by storage only but comes in an overall wonderful and/or fully undamaged, condition. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - genuine piece of German cap-insignia: great to restore a Panzer-beret or to be stored in any insignia-collection!
