This is a neat WH personal-equipment item that was specifically used for (pre-war) training-purposes in the field: a neat bright-red- (ie. yellow-) coloured WH (Heeres etc.) helmet-strap (ie. 'Helmband 36') being an example that is totally void of a makers'- ie. date-designation and that comes in an overall very nice (and hardly used-), condition. The piece - which retains all its metal-based clips and functional closing-system - shows some (truly minimal) age and/or staining but is of course still fully functional. Simply a neat WH personal-equipment item that belonged to a WH-soldier: great to 'decorate' alsmost any German steel-helmet!
