This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single - example of an officers'-pattern-, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (ie. 'Rangabzeichen für die Tarnuniform') as was intended for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms by an officer with the rank of: 'Leutnant' ie.: 'Waffen-SS Untersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant) being a printed example that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. virtually mint- ie. unissued-), condition. This piece - which is of the 'printed pattern' as executed in black on a bright-green-coloured linnen-based background - shows a single oakleaf-bar and single square-sized bar, signifying that this patch was intended for usage by an officer with the rank of: 'Leutnant' ie.: 'Waffen-SS Untersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant). The piece is a tiny bit stained caused by storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and actually not that often encountered! - WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar!
