Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) general-officers'-type shoulderboard, as was executed in golden-/silver toned 'braid' as was intended for usage by a: 'Generalmajor des Heeres'

The truly attractive shoulderboard - which is constructed from the bright-red- (almost orange-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool and having the golden-/silver toned- so-called: braid-based upperdeck - comes in an excellent condition overall and is hard to be upgraded: the board was with certainty worn and came as recently found. The board is just a tiny bit 'tarnished' simply caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear and was with certainty once tunic-attached: some minimal stitching-holes are noticable (I deem that it was clearly 'cut-off a tunic'). The neat shoulderboard - which measures approximately 10,3 cms. in length - never had any general-officers'-pip(s) attached denoting the rank of a: 'Generalmajor des Heeres' (see pictures). The shoulderboard came without tongue and was clearly intended to be used as a piece of the 'sew-in'-type. It should be noted that all general-officers' shoulderboards can easily be graded 'very scarce'. Too bad that it is only a single example!
