Attractive - albeit single but still scarcely encountered! - specific 'cyphered'-, EM-type shoulderboard, as was intended for a WH (Heeres) 'Feldpost-Lagermeister' (being of a rank comparable with a soldiers'-rank)

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - specific 'cyphered'-, enlisted-mens'-type shoulderboard, as was intended for a WH (Heeres) 'Feldpost-Lagermeister' (being of a rank comparable with a soldiers'-rank) and that comes in an overall very nice (albeit IMO sligthty worn- ie. IMO tunic-removed-), condition. The board - which is executed in the 'smooth'-like- and/or darker-green-coloured wool (aka 'moleskin'-wool) has the neat (bright- ie. lemon-yellow- ie. 'zitronengelber'- coloured-) branchcolour (ie. 'Zwischenfarbe') and darker-green-coloured 'upperdeck' showing (interwoven) yellow-coloured braid something that was obligatory for all shoulderboards as worn and/or used by the 'Feldpost'-service officials. The board measures approximately 11,3 cms. in length and never had a tongue attached and was surely intended for usage as a piece of the 'sew-in'-type (as can be seen on the pictures). The board shows a (regular-sized-, silver-toned- and aluminium-based-): 'FP'-cypher (period-) attached. This device is somewhat tarnished and/or stained but which is still very nice and/or pronounced (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the device was attached BEFORE the board was totally assembled (something that can be seen on the pictures). The board was only minimally used and does show some (truly minor) staining ie. wear. This particular example originated from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. Simply an attractive - and truly rarely seen! - EM-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboard that belonged to a: WH (Heeres) 'Feldpost-Lagermeister': too bad it is only a single piece!
