This is an interesting - and never before seen and with certainty rarely encountered! - (IMO) OT- (ie. 'Organisation Todt'-) related, machine-embroidered-, trade- ie. special-career-patch as was executed in greenish-brown-coloured wool and depicting a 'T'-character, that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly worn- and/or tunic-removed-), condition. The rare patch is neatly machine-embroidered in beige-white-coloured linnen on a (typical) greenish-brown-coloured- and/or woolen-based- (ie. OT-type-), background. The patch - which is partly 'backed' as is more often encountered - hardly shows wear nor age. This particular example originated from a larger cloth- and/or shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. I could not find reference-material for this patch ie. could not find for whch specific task or function it was used. Without doubt an interesting OT- (ie. 'Organisation Todt'-) related trade- and/or special-career-patch that would merit further investigative work!
