This is a nice example of a so-called trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. 'signal blitz') as was executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour, as was intended for a 'signals-operator' (or: 'WH-Nachrichten Personal') ie. soldier within the: 'Artillerie-Truppen' (ie. artillery-troops), in overall very nice (IMO never used- nor tunic-attached-) condition. The patch is neatly hand-embroidered on dark-green-coloured wool and shows no defaults whatsoever: it was IMO never tunic-attached nor used. The 'blitz' is bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and was intended for an: 'Artillerie'-soldier. The patch is a nicely maker-marked example (see white-inked stamps on its back) and shows some minimal staining, simply caused by years of storage only. This example is additionally 'backed' with black-coloured linnen as is more often seen. Simply a very attractive 'signal-blitz'!
