This is a neat, larger- (ie. (ie. 29 x 20,5 cms.-) sized-, yearly-publication (ie. year-book) entitled: 'Der Gute Kamerad - Illustriete Knabenzeitung', being an example of the 56th edition, being a HJ-related-example full of neat photographs and/or war-related stories, as was published in 1942, that comes in an overall very nice - and/or fully complete- and/or totally undamaged! - condition. The neat book - which contains 196 pages - is truly full with illustrations and/or pictures regarding the war-effort and/or: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' (some of which I never saw before!). The year-book - which is a hardbound example having a red-coloured- and/or linnen bound cover - comes in a minimally used- but fully complete - condition and was most certainly published (in 1942) with a specific means “to convince and educate the German youth about all ins- and outs within the German army”. Simply a very attractive, period-publication and a great reference-guide on the subject matter!
