This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-war-) period, 'M43'-pattern, 'cyphered'-, NCO-type shoulderstrap, as was piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour, as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen im Wehrkreis VII' (or: sergeant who served within a unit that fell under the jurisdiction of the: 'Wehrkreis', numbered: '7'), in overall very nice, albeit moderately used ie. worn-, condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 11,5 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type' and/or field-grey-coloured-, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or desirable, 'silk-like'-type piping attached. The strap - which comes mounted on its functional tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The strap shows the silverish-grey-coloured- (ie. standard-pattern-) 'Heeres' NCO-braid and/or single- (aluminium-based-) pip attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Feldwebel' - see pictures. Next to this, the strap shows the - equally aluminium-based- and/or Latin-styled-, so-called: 'W'-cypher- and/or: zinc-based- and/or Roman-styled-, so-called: 'VII'-cypher, attached. All three devices are nicely preserved and do only show minimal age- ie. tarnish. It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'fairly scarce'. This particular example originated from a large cloth-/shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. In any case an attractive and/or (IMO) early- ie. mid-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or: 'Heeres'-related shoulderstrap that was intended for a: 'Feldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen im Wehrkreis VII'!
