Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-war-) period, 'M36'-type (rounded-style-) 'cyphered'-, NCO-type shoulderstrap, as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel u. This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-war-) period, 'M36'-type (rounded-style-) 'cyphered'- NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour, as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied eines Unteroffiziersschule der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: sergeant and possibly trainer who served within one of the infantry-related-, NCO-schools- ie. institutes), in overall nice, albeit moderately used ie. worn-, condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 10,3 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached. The strap shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-) 'US'-cypher (which is executed in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured wool- ie. fine-structured linnen as to be expected - see pictures). The strap - which comes mounted on its functional tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The strap has the 'standard-issue'-pattern-, bright-silver-coloured type NCO-braid- and/or single- (alumnium-based-) pip attached, denoting the NCOs rank of: 'Feldwebel'. It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'fairly scarce': those attributed to the: 'Heeres-Unteroffiziersschulen' even more so. This particular example originated from a large cloth-/shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. In any case an attractive and/or early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related shoulderstrap that was intended for a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied eines Unteroffiziersschule der Infanterie-Truppen'!
