Attractive, period-, WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-related- photo-collection entitled: 'Eine Bilderfolge vom Marsch und von den Kämpfen einer Panzer-Division' (ie. covering the march of the 7. Panzer-Division in 1940)

This is a truly attractive - and actually only once before encountered and most certainly scarcely encountered - period-, WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-related- photo-collection that comes stored in its period carton-based cover entitled: 'Eine Bilderfolge vom Marsch und von den Kämpfen einer Panzerdivision' as compiled by a person named: 'Wolfgang Heiderreich' (ie. being a commemorative photo-collection covering the march of the 7th Panzer-Division in 1940), in overall very nice and/or fully complete condition. The set - which comprises of over 100 (ie. 117-) loose (ie. not bound and/or nicely individually numbered-) black-and-white photographs that measure 18 x 15 cms. in size and of which some are illustrated with text - shows the entire war-effort of the 7th Panzer-Division (later nicknamed: "Gespenster-Division" or: "Ghost Division") and its illustrious commander (the later: 'Generalfeldmarschall') Erwin Rommel (who is also shown in various pictures within the set). The commerorative set was most likely distributed on a very limited scale and was IMO only given to the divisional-staff. It was published by a publishing-house based in the town of Gera and is void of any date. The yellowish-beige coloured cover is minimally stained (ie. shows some usage-marks) whereas all photos are in a very nice (ie. virtualy mint-/unissued-) condition! Simply a very nice - and with certainty! - unusually seen 'Panzer'-related- photo-collection: I deem I have priced this neat and surely unusual item accordingly!
