Neat - albeit regrettably single! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period WH (Heeres), 'M36'-pattern (pointed-style-) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap, as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel u. This is an attractive - and as such actually scarcely encountered albeit regrettably single! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period WH (Heeres), 'M36'-type (pointed-style-) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap, as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied des Artillerie-Beobachtungabteilungs 3' (or sergeant who served within the artillery-observers unit or regiment, numbered: '3'), in overall nice, albeit moderately used and/or worn-, condition. The neat board - which is IMO of the pre- ie. early-war-type and only shows minimal age ie. wear - has a dark-green coloured, woolen-based 'upperdeck' as to be expected and has of course no piping (it is a board of the 'generic pattern' as to be expected). The tongue is naturally also present and/or functional. The board - which measures approximately 12,5 cms. in length - shows the silverish-coloured and/or standard-type-, 'Heeres' NCO-braid attached. The strap shows a neat (smaller-sized-) 'B'-cypher and (Latin-styled-) '3'-numeral: both cyphers are executed in silverish-grey-coloured-, zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink'). Next to these it shows a single (IMO aluminium-based-) pip, denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Feldwebel' (or sergeant): all devices shows some moderate age- ie. fair tarnish. The strap shows as stated above only moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible-/present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-type shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'fairly scarce'. In any case an attractive and/or early-war period-, 'cyphered Heeres'-related shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied des Artillerie-Beobachtung- abteilungs 3': too bad that it is only a single strap!
