Neat - and scarcely encountered! - early-pattern, WH (Heeres) specific cocarde as was intended for the: 'Panzer'-beret, as executed in so-called: 'BeVo'-weave pattern

This example (being of the early-pattern!) is as to be expected, executed in white-coloured-linnen on a black-coloured- (and also linnen-based) background and was cleary used (ie. once beret-attached) as can be seen on the pictures. The piece was carefully trimmed- ie. folded into shape and still shows some minimal stitching-remains (ie. holes): moreover, does it show some glue-remains on the back, simply caused by having been once glued into an album or scrapbook. The cocarde shows some minimal age- and/or staining but comes in a wonderful condition. Simply a nice and scarcely encountered piece of German cap-insignia: great to restore a Pz-beret!
