The multi-coloured badge - having the carmine-coloured border - was introduced in 1940 but did not show wide-spread usage amongst the HJ members and can therefore easily be regarded as 'fairly rare'. The piece on offer here shows some minimal fraying on the (fragile and/or thin-shaped-) background as more often observed but is for the rest fully undamaged (it can easily be confectioned ie. used if wished so). It does show some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage only: I deem that this neat patch can easily be graded 'virtually mint-/inissued'. It should however be noted that this particular fire-fighter youthbadge is regrettably copied at a large-scale: the badge on offer here is naturally a fine and 100% garuanteed original specimen.
