This is a truly very nice - and actualy quite rarely encountered! - DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' or German Red Cross) nurses'-badge entitled: 'Samariterin', being an enamelled piece that is neatly 'Ges.Gesch' marked on the back, in overall nice (albeit used- ie. worn-) condition. The badge is made of 'Buntmetall' and retains immaculate enamel (no damages whatsoever just some regular worn areas and/or minimal scratches are noticable). The badge also bears the: 'Ges.Gesch.' patent-pending mark (see pictures). The badge is IMO definitely worn but is void of any enamel damage: it has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished and still has a neat 'darkened' age-patina. The pin - which has a functional pin/catch set-up in place - is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin catalogue, where it is given a unique reference-number: 5613XI and an estimated value of 125 Eu. Simply a very nice - and rarely encountered! - DRK-badge: only the third such neat badge I ever had on offer!
