Very nice, WH (Heeres) so-called trade- and/or special career arm-insignia as intended for a: 'Hufbeschlagmeister' (or: farrier), being a nicely hand-embroidered variant on dark-green-coloured wool - very nice (IMO minimally used-) condition!
This is a truly very nice example of a WH (Heeres) so-called trade- and/or special career arm-insignia, as intended for a: a: 'Hufbeschlagmeister' (or: farrier), being a nicely hand-embroidered variant as executed on dark-green-coloured wool, in overall very nice (IMO minimally used and/or tunic-removed-) condition. The neat patch is executed on dark-green coloured wool and is neatly 'backed' with bluish-grey-coloured linnen as more often encountered: it does not show an added silver rim and was therefore intended for usage by a non-qualified: 'Hufbeschlagmeister'. The patch shows some minimal staining, simply caused by decades of storage and or minimal wear (it has IMO been once tunic-attached by means of a machine - see pictures). It shows a (clearly visible-) blue-inked makers'-mark (ie. ink-stamp) that reads: 'T.C.C', something that is more often encountered. Simply a very nice WH (Heeres) trade/specialist badge and most certainly one that is not that easily encountered!
