This is a neat, typical zinc-based WH (Heeres) signals- or: 'Nachrichten'- (ie. 'Infanterie'-) related ID-disc (ie, Erkennungsmarke) that is bearing the stamped unit-designation: '15./J.N.E.K.246' (and as such I deem being a disc that belonged to a soldier or NCO who served within the 15th company of the 'Infanterie-Nachrichten-Ersatz-Kolonne 246' or infantry signals replacement unit numbered: '246') and that comes still mounted onto its original cord as issued and worn and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used and/or worn-), condition. The disc comes as found and was never cleaned nor polished: it shows clear usage (torn-out holes) and also shows the stamped soldiers'-bloodgroup-type (type: '0'). The disc comes mounted on its original cord as found and most certainly worn. Simply a interesting WH (Heeres) ID-disc that belonged to an 'Infanterie'- ie. 'Nachrichten'-soldier!
