This is a truly very nice - and fully matching and scarcely encountered! - pair of high-ranked officers'-type collar-patches, as intended for - and worn by - a: 'Wehrmachtsbeamte des höheren Dienstes' (= being an adminiatrative-official having the highest rank-variant ie. belonging to the: 'höheren Dienstes'), in overall very nice, IMO onlty moderately worn ie. tunic-removed condition. The tabs are beautifully executed in golden-toned (very detailed!) hand-embroidery on a dark-green coloured, woolen-based background and are neatly piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'Hochroter'-) woolen-type piping as prescribed per regulation. The rank could be compared with a general-officer and was held by various WH 'Beamte' (such as for example: 'Oberintendanturrat', 'Landwirtschaftsrat u. 35 Jahre' etc.). The pieces are beautifully constructed (ie. hand-embroidered) using various kinds (ie. shades) of golden-toned braid: both tabs show superb detail and/or craftmanship. The tabs are naturally 'backed' with the brownish-coloured 'buckram'-based cloth and still shows the signs of having once been tunic-attached. Actually are all these higher-ranked 'Beamten'-insignia quite hard to encounter. Simply a superb pair that is very hard to upgrade!
