This is a truly nice example of a WH (Heeres) so-called trade- and/or special career arm-insignia, as intended for a: 'Geprüfter Funkmeister' (or qualified radio operator), in overall nice, albeit clearly used ie. worn and/or tunic-removed condition. The neat patch is executed on dark-green wool and shows three (very detailed and/or neatly hand-embroidered) arrows or 'Blitzes' executed in bright-yellow linnen. The patch - which is neatly backed with black-coloured linnen as usual - shows the additionally attached silver border, denoting that the soldier who wore it had succesfully passed several tests and could therefore be regarded as a: 'Geprüfter Funkmeister'. The patch - which has an inked makers'-stamp on the back - shows some minimal staining (and two tiny moth-holes), simply caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear. This patch was recently uncovered at a private household and came together with the patch I offer under number 29957: both belonged to the same soldier or NCO. Simply a very nice WH (Heeres) trade/specialist badge!
