This is a very nice - and truly scarcely encountered! - albeit regrettably single, bright-green coloured and/or bright-red piped WH (Luftwaffe) collar-patch, as intended for a: 'Soldat der Felddivisionen', in overall very nice condition. The tab is executed in bright-green coloured (smooth- i.e. 'Moleskin'-like) wool and was intended for a soldier (or NCO) belonging to one of the the late-war-period so-called: 'Felddivisionen' (or later-war LW infantry units or ground-troops). The patch has one ('Feinzink'-based) gull attached and has the standard-type brown-/yellowish-coloured 'buckram'-based backing. The tab is nicely piped with bright-red coloured piping (which is executed in the neat 'silk-like' pattern) and most certainly signified anti-aircraft (ie. 'Flakartillerie') usage. Simply a very nice and desirable LW 'Felddivisionen' collar-tab: too bad that it is only a single piece!
