Fully matching - and actually scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') as was intended for usage by a: 'Flieger-Oberingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Oberleutnant')

This is a truly very attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely encountered! - pair of neatly hand-embroidered, WH (Luftwaffe) collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere der Luftwaffe') as executed in bright-silver-coloured braid onto a bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured background as was specifically intended for usage by an engineer-officer holding the rank of: 'Flieger-Oberingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Oberleutnant' ie. lieutnant first-class) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem simply never used- nor tunic-attached- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The tabs are executed in the neat smooth-like (ie. 'moleskin'-type) wool and have truly extraordinary detail: the shown craftmanship is simply stunning. The backing is constructed of beige-coloured, so-called 'buckram'-based cloth (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows some minimal age- ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage and handling only (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these 'pink-coloured' LW-tabs as intended for commissioned staffmembers of the 'Ingenieurkorps der Luftwaffe' are quite hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Both pieces were presumably once glued into an album or scrapbook once and do show some minimal glue- (ie. carton-) remains on their backs. Simply a very attractive collar-tab-pair that belonged to a: 'Flieger-Oberingenieur' and that will be impossible to be upgraded!
