WH (Luftwaffe) darker-blue-coloured- and/or steel-based belt-buckle, being a neatly maker- (ie. 'R. Sieper & Söhne'-) marked and/or: '1942'-dated example that comes mounted onto its period, natural-coloured and/or leather-based tab

This is a truly very attractive - and just minimally used- and/or worn! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) originally bluish-coloured- and/or steel-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe') being a neatly maker- (ie. 'R. Sieper & Söhne'-) marked and/or: '1942'-dated example that comes mounted onto its natural-coloured, leather-based tab and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally worn- ie. used-), condition. The buckle was most certainly issued and/or worn as such: it retains, nevertheless, most (ie. almost all!) of its (darker)blue-coloured finish (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece was never cleaned nor polished and does show some minimal age- and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle does also show some obvious dust caused by over more than 80 years of storage. The buckle shows an impressed makers'-designation that simply reads: 'R.S.&S. ' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The leather-based tab is naturally also still fully functional and souple: it shows the oval-shaped 'R. Sieper & Söhne - Lüdenscheid - 1942'-stamp (as can be seen on the pictures) and remains in an equally nicely preserved condition (it was I deem never greased nor oiled but does show some age ie. staining as to be expected). The piece was recently found at a private-household and was never before part of a collection. Simply a neat - and just minimally used- and/or worn! - 'R. Sieper & Söhne'-marked 'Luftwaffe'-belt-buckle that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
