This is a truly attractive - and with certainty worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed! - example of a multi-coloured- and neatly printed-type armshield (ie. 'Ärmelschild') showing a (bright-yellow-toned) 'bow-and-arrow'-symbol and text: 'Idil-Ural - Tatar Legioni' on a typical light-blue-coloured background (and as such being of the rarely encountered third- and/or final pattern!) and that comes in a very nice- (ie. neatly period-confectioned- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The shield is just a tiny bit 'wrinkled' ie. minimally stained simply caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). This particular - and truly very rarely encountered! - piece originates from a neat insignia-lot that was recently uncovered at an old dry-cleaner in the town of Ghent (Gent) in Belgium: I have included an overview-picture of the entire lot (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very attractive example of this rarely encountered 'Ostvöler'-related armshield that shows true character and that is I deem priced according to its unmistaken desirabilty and/or rarity!
