WA- (or: 'Weerafdelingen'-) related 'Motor WA'-breast-badge
This is an attractive - and presumably Dutch-produced and unusually printed! - example a WA- (or: 'Weerafdelingen der Nationaal Socialistische Beweging'-) related: 'Motor WA'-breast-badge (ie. in Dutch language 'Dienstonderscheidingsteken der Motor-WA' or: motorised WA-Staffmembers) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and/or I deem issued- albeit never worn- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The neat circular-shaped patch - which has an approximate diameter of only 4,4 cms. - comes mounted onto a beige-coloured- and/or paper-based 'backing' whereupon a bright-red-toned 'steering-wheel'-symbol is noticable (as can be seen on the pictures). The WA (or in Dutch language: 'Weerafdelingen') could be compared with the German SA ('Sturmabteilungen') and was part of the NSB- (or: 'Nationaal Socialistische Beweging' being the Dutch WWII-period, pro-German party. It should be noted that these neatly printed, 'Motor-WA'-badges can easily be considered 'scarce'. The piece was never used nor tunic-attached and does show some minimal storage-age only (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that this is the version that was specifically intended for EM- ie. NCO-usage. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a 100% guaranteed original, Dutch-related, 'Dienstonderscheidingsteken der Motor-WA' for a justified price!
