Superb - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'- and/or rounded-styled pattern) shoulderstrap having the white-coloured branchcolour as intended for an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Wachbatallions Berl...

This is a very attractive - and truly rarely found albeit regrettably single! - neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'- and/or rounded-styled pattern) shoulderstrap having the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Wachbatallions Berlin' (or: sergeant first-class who served within the famous guard-batallion based in the town of Berlin) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn- and/or most certainly tunic-removed-), condition. The neat strap - which is approximately 12,2 cms. sized in length - shows the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and woolen-type piping and has the 'standard-pattern'- and silver-coloured (early- ie. 'dotted'-pattern) NCO-braid attached and shows a neat (bright-silver-coloured, Gothic-styled- and/or: regular-sized-) so-called: 'W'-cypher and two (equally styled, larger- ie. regular-sized) pips period-attached, denoting that the strap was intended for an NCO who held the rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel'. All three devices show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish (but have all prongs in place and come in an undamaged condition). The strap - which is a typical 'standard-issued' strap comes mounted onto its period tongue and does show some moderate age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply a very attractive - and truly rarely seen! - 'Heeres'-NCO-type shoulderstrap that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Wachbatallions Berlin': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
