Interesting - albeit single! - pre- (ie. early-war-) period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' and rounded-styled WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied des Wehrkreis-Kds. 10'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single albeit nevertheless scarcely encountered! - pre- (ie. early-war-) period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' and rounded-styled, WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied des Wehrkreis-Kommandos 10' (or: simple infantry-soldier who served within the region ie. 'Wehrkreis', numbered: '10') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which is of the pre- (ie. early-) war-period type - has the darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and does show as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and/or woolen-type piping attached. The shoulderstrap never had a tongue attached and was clearly intended for usage as a strap of the 'sew-in'-pattern (it measures approximately 11,8 cms. in length as more often). It does show the neatly machine-embroidered, so-called: Roman-styled 'X'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') which is executed in white-coloured machine-stitching) denoting that it was a strap that was used by a: 'Soldat (ie. I deem recruiting-official) who was attached to the: 'Wehrkreis-Kommando', numbered: '10'. The strap shows some minimal age, wear and or minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should noted that these neatly 'cyphered' 'Wehrkreis-Kommando'-related shoulderstraps can easily be graded fairly 'rare': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
