Superb - and fully matching! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually truly scarcely found! - pair of typically 'standard-issued- (ie. non-tailor-made'- nor 'privately-purchased'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Kavallerie o. Reiter-Regiments 18' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the cavalry-related unit ie. regiment, numbered: '18') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- and most certainly worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical (smooth)woolen-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 12 cms. in length each - show the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or (desirable) 'silk-type' piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which show the regular-styled, silver-toned NCO-braid attached - show two matching pairs of the (scarcely found, smaller-sized, aluminium-based- and/or golden-yellow-coloured) '1'- and '8'-numerals ie. cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached and come mounted onto their functional tongues (as can be noticed on the pictures). Both straps come in a nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition, overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair only shows moderate wear and/or age and is just very nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat - and most certainly desirable! - NCO-type, 'Kavallerie o. Reiter'-related shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
