Superb - albeit single! - pre- (ie. early-war-) period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' and rounded-styled, WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied der 6. This is a truly very attractive - albeit regrettably single albeit nevertheless scarcely encountered! - pre- (ie. early-war-) period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' and rounded-styled, WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied der 6. Infanterie-Division' (or: simple infantry-soldier who served within the infantry-division numbered: '6') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit minimally used ie. hardly or even never worn-), condition. The neat strap - which is of the pre- (ie. early-) war-period type - has the darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and does show as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and/or woolen-type piping. The shoulderstrap never had a tongue attached and was clearly intended as a strap of the 'sew-in'-pattern. The strap measures approximately 12 cms. in length as more often and does show the neatly hand-embroidered(!), so-called: Gothic-styled 'D'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and/or: '6'-numeral (which are both executed in white-coloured- and very detailed stitching) denoting that it was a strap that was used by a 'Soldat' who was attached to the: 'Infanterie-Division 6'. The strap is totally void of any age nor wear and was possibly issued but simply never worn (as can be seen on the pictures). It should noted that these neatly 'cyphered' 'Infanterie-Division'-related shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'rare': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
