This is an attractive - and fully matching! - pair of 'standard-issued- (ie. I deem 'non-tailor-made'-) pattern, neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberwachtmeister des Artillerie-Regiments 27' (or: sergeant first-class who served within the artillery-regiment, numbered: '27') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical 'smooth woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 12 cms. in length each - show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Both straps show a matching pair of (larger-sized- and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based) '2'- and/or '7'-numerals (ie. 'cyphers' or: 'Ziffern') and four (equally-styled) pips period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Oberwachtmeister o. Oberfeldwebel' (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the typical (bright) silverish-toned NCO-braid attached - never had any tongues attached: they were intended and used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type and come both in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair only shows minimal wear and/or age and is just very nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, neatly 'cyphered', 'Artillerie'-related shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
