This is an attractive example of a silver-class wound badge (or: 'Verwundeten Abzeichen in Silber') being a desirable WB-'variant' example that is dual maker- (ie. '100'- and/or: 'L/55'-) marked (signifying that it is a piece as was produced by the: 'Rudolf Wächtler & Lange'-company) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The badge - which is executed in silvered zinc-based metal (or 'Feinzink') - shows only minimal wear ie. age and has a correct - and fully functional - pin- and/or catch (-set-up) in place. The badge has, however, never been cleaned and shows evident tarnish and/or wear: it truly retains most of its silverish finish. The badge - which is fairly dirty, and which was I deem never cleaned nor polished - is nicely maker-marked: '100' (on the round catch set-up as is common with these WBs) and also shows the designation: 'L/55' on its back, both signifying that it is a piece as was produced by the: 'Rudolf Wächtler u. Lange'-company, based in Mittwaida. Simply an attractive and dual maker-marked silver-class WB that is with certainty accordingly priced!
