This is a neat example of a silver-toned - albeit minimally tarnished ie. stained! - WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'WH-Dienstauszeichnung der 4. Stufe' (as was intended for 4 years of loyal-service) that came mounted onto its (pre-confectioned- and shortened) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that shows a detailed (greyish-silver-toned) eagle-device attached and that comes as issued and/or recently found. The attractive - and untouched! - army or naval service-award was surely issued and worn as such (as can be seen on the pictures). The detail on both medal and eagle-device is still nice and/or truly pronounced as to be expected: both have never been cleaned nor polished and have a nice ie. truly somewhat 'frosted' age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The award came - as stated above - firmly-attached onto its period piece of folded, blue-coloured ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt'). The award shows some minimal staining and wear, simply caused by decades of careful storage and usage. Simply a neat example of a WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine)-related 'Wehrmacht-Dienstauszeichnung 4. Klasse für 4 Jahre Dienstzeit' that is accordingly priced!
