Superb - and unusually seen! - commemorative DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') being a maker- (ie. 'HuW'-) marked example entitled: 'Werk-Ehrendienst im Heimatsgau des Führers'

This is an attractive - and actually unusually seen! - bright golden-bronze-toned- and typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based: DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related 'tinnie' (ie. day-badge or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific DAF-gathering entitled: 'Werk-Ehrendienst im Heimatsgau des Führers' (and sub-titled: 'Arbeit für dein Volk adelt dich selbst') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in golden-bronze-toned- and - I deem- typical tin-based metal - shows the DAF-device (ie. cog-wheel) coupled with the above-mentioned text and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The circular-shaped and somewhat larger-sized badge (having an approximate diameter of 4.5 cms.) shows a clear makers'-designation (ie. logo that reads: 'HuW') and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. The piece - that is unusually void of any date- nor years-designation - comes in a very nicely preserved condition. Simply an attractive, DAF-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
