Single - and actually not that often seen! - WH (Heeres) EM-type (ie. 'M36-/M40'-pattern- and 'pointed styled-') 'cyphered' shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 78'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-war-) period, so-called: 'M36-/M40'-pattern- (pointed-styled-) 'cyphered'- and/or per regulation non-piped enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was intended for - and worn by! - a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 78' (or: simple soldier who served within the army infantry unit ie. regiment numbered: '78') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 10,5 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has (of course) no piping attached. The strap shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-) so-called: '7'- and '8'-cyphers ie. numerals. Both 'cyphers' are executed in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which comes mounted on its functional tongue - shows as stated above moderate usage and/or wear and is just minimally stained. It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related EM-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 78'!
