The truly very attractive and actually rarely seen piece - which was (I deem) surely issued but that was simply never worn nor mounted - comes together with its folded and/or non-confectioned (and approx. 29 cms. long-sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and came stored in its (truly scarcely seen!) darker-blue-coloured- and/or 'Zellstoff'-based pouch as issued and stored for decades. The cross - which is totally void of a makers'-signification as more often - was with certainty never cleaned and has a nice and/or attractive age-patina: it has a somewhat darkened tarnish (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross has a nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'matted'- ie. satin-like) core: it is truly void of any damage or alike. The piece is just a tiny bit dusty and/or stained but was never cleaned nor polished. The cross has very nice and/or pronounced detail as to be expected for a cross by this particular maker. The 'Zellstoff'-based pouch comes in a functional condition but does show some minimal (storage)age and/or staining: it shows a clearly printed makers'-designation 'Deschler & Sohn - München' on its back. The differences between a 'runder Drei'- (ie. rounded-three-) pattern and a regular type IC can easily be spotted when compared next to a regular format IC: the '3'-numeral in both year-designations '1939' and/or '1813' is clearly 'rounded' in style and execution (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross is magnetic as to be expected and came as stated with its bright-red-coloured ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as found and stored for decades. It should be noted that these 'runder Drei'- (ie. rounded-three-) pattern ICs as produced by the 'Deschler & Sohn'-company can easily be graded 'truly scarce'. Simply a great and untouched IC-set that will be very hard to be upgraded!
