This is a truly very attractive example of a - seldomly seen! - bright-golden-toned, WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine etc.) so-called: 'Einzelspange' (or: single-pieced medal-bar) showing a WH Czech 'Anschluss'- (ie. occupation-) medal: '1 October 1938' (as was given to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czecoslovakia, which started on 1 October 1938) and that comes with a firmly (and most certainly period!) attached 'Prager Burg-Spange' and that comes mounted onto its nicely confectioned, black/red/black-coloured ribbon as issued. The detail on this example is truly very nicely preserved: it has never been cleaned nor polished and has an attractive and somewhat 'frosted'- (ie. minimally tarnished) age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal comes 'mounted' onto a metal clasp that is neatly 'backed' with a piece of darker-green-coloured wool (with functional pin/catch) as was intended for wearing this example on a 'going-out'- ie. dress-tunic or 'Waffenrock'. The award (and 'Spange') truly retains gorgeous details and have both a great ie. only minimally darkened- ie. tarnished age-patina: both retain all of their fairly 'glossy'- and/or: bright-golden-toned finish. The multi-coloured ribbon shows only minimal usage and/or staining. Hard to find a more attractive WH Czech 'Anschluss'-medal with period-attached 'Prager Burg-Spange' that comes mounted as an: 'Einzelspange'!
