Superb - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Wachbatallions Berlin'

This is a very attractive - most certainly rarely encountered but regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the white- ('weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specificallly intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Wachbatallions Berlin' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within the famous guard-batallion based in the town Berlin) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The board - which measurse approximately 10,7 cms. in length and that has a somewhat 'sub-dued', silver-coloured 'upperdeck' - is I deem just moderately used and does show some minor wear, age and/or minimal staining. The board come mounted onto their (typical) smaller-sized officers'-type tongues and were with certainty worn as a pair (as can be seen on the pictures). The board shows the neat (Gothic-styled, regular-sized, bright golden-toned and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'W'-'cypher' (ie. 'Ziffer') and one (similarly styled) pip attached, denoting the officers'-rank of: 'Oberleutnant'. Both devices are executed in 'Buntmetall'-based-metal and show some minimal age ie. tarnish: they have, however, maintained a neat and somewhat 'frosted' appearance. Simply a very attractive, 'cyphered', 'Infanterie'-related officers'-type shoulderboard that once belonged to an: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Wachbatallions Berlin': I deem that I have priced this superb board according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
