WH (Heeres) 'Armwinkel' (or: arm-chevron) as executed on typical darker-green-coloured wool as was specifically intended for usage by a soldier with the (unusually encountered!) rank of: 'Stabsgefreiter'

This is an attractive - and moderately used- ie. worn! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'Armwinkel' (ie.: arm-chevron) as was executed on a typical, darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based background as was intended for usage by a soldier with the - unusually encountered! - rank of: 'Stabsgefreiter' (ie. senior-private) and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem used- and/or worn-), condition. The chevron is neatly executed and shows a detailed, machine-embroidered- (and silverish-white-coloured) 'star' whereunder a double-stripe of silver-coloured- (ie. non-'sub-dued') and/or 'standard'-pattern NCO-braid can be observed. The patch was recently found at a private household in Germany. The piece shows a greyish, cheese-duck-based backing as more often observed (as can be seen on the pictures). It sounds maybe strange but these 'simple' Heeres-related rank-insignia are quite hard to encounter. Simply an attractive WH-rank-badge that is accordingly priced!
