The truly very attractive - and I deem most certainly early-period! - medal is stamped by the designer ie. cutter (named: 'De Marohis') and is also neatly maker- (ie. 'Lorioli-Milano'-) marked as is always the case with these neat and desirable, foreign, commemorative awards. The pronounced medal retains most (ie. all!) of its minimally darkened, golden-bronze-coloured finish and has simply never been cleaned nor polished: it is just a tiny bit dirty and retains truly fantastic and/or pronounced detail. The piece comes - as stated above - mounted onto its (regular-sized- and/or neatly folded ie. confectioned-) piece of original ribbon (which is actually hard to find in itself). The ribbon is somewhat faded by usage and/or years of storage (as is more often the case). The piece also retains its (black-coloured) safety-pin firmly attached. The medal originates from a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply a very attractive example of this desirable award: maybe the best such example I had on offer for quite some time!
